　　米酵菌酸是线粒体腺嘌呤核苷酸转位酶的抑制性配体。它抑制线粒体通透性转换孔的开放。 在50μM时，它抑制胸腺细胞中的地塞米松诱导的细胞凋亡，阻止PARP裂解和通常由此所产生的DEVDase（Caspase-3 like）活性。
